Funzin’s proprietary AI Command Decision Support System, ‘KWM (Kill-Web Matching)’, has successfully completed the Army combat experiment, becoming the first in the history of the ROK Army to acquire the ‘AI Battle Staff’ certification.

🔍 How Did the 'AI Battle Staff' Transform the Battlefield? This certification is based on the rigorous results of the ‘2025 Army TIGER Unit Experiment’ conducted last October at the Korea Combat Training Center (KCTC) in Inje, Gangwon-do.

1️⃣ Real-time Hostile Detection & Command Decision Support Funzin’s ‘KWM-Ocelot’ integrated EO/IR cameras with AI-based electromagnetic spectrum analysis technology to detect hostile positions in real time. This critical intelligence was instantly shared on the Command & Control (C2) dashboard, enabling commanders to make faster and more accurate decisions (Sensor-to-Shooter).

2️⃣ Robust Target Inference Even in Adverse Conditions (Few-Shot Learning) Data scarcity in the battlefield was not an issue. Utilizing Few-Shot Learning techniques, the system accurately identified target characteristics using only limited data, proving its robust performance even in challenging environments.

3️⃣ AI Evolving on the Field (MLOps) Funzin’s MLOps platform ‘FAIP 3.0’ and the synthetic data generation platform ‘EagleEye™’ truly shone against new targets and unfamiliar terrain. By continuously training and deploying AI models directly on the field, we maximized battlefield adaptability.

On January 29th, Funzin CEO Shirly and VP Jeon Ji-hoon were officially invited by the Korea Combat Training Center (KCTC) to deliver a special lecture to the Headquarters and the Opposing Force (OPFOR) Regiment.

This lecture was organized to strengthen AI capabilities—the core of future defense technology—amid the ROK military’s push to establish an 'AI-based Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T)' system.

🔥 A Passionate Lecture Atmosphere The event was attended by key military officials, including KCTC Commander Major General An Chan-myung, the Director of Training Control, and core commanders of the OPFOR Regiment. The venue was also packed with officers and soldiers eager to learn about the future battlefield environment.

Echoing the Public Affairs Officer’s hope that "this will be a valuable opportunity for our soldiers to understand and prepare for the future battlefield one step ahead," Funzin is committed to supporting our military’s journey toward becoming a scientific powerhouse with our unrivaled technology.

Funzin has been selected for the ‘2026 Emerging AI+X Top 100’ organized by the Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (AIIA). By making the list for the 6th consecutive year, Funzin has once again proven itself as an unshakable representative AI company in Korea amidst rapidly changing tech trends.
